Our hearts go out to the people of Lebanon after such a terrible tragedy. 💔
Images of the shattered glass & destruction brought back very real memories of the 2014 Napa earthquake for many of us, even though it was on a smaller scale. We can understand neighbors helping neighbors clean up, the community coming together, and the residual trauma that takes time to heal.
This is a beautiful gesture to honor those who have gone through so much.

⭐️ Doris Gentry is a gifted and natural teacher. For over 20 years she has worked at the Napa Valley College teaching foster parents. In addition, Gentry has been the keynote speaker multiple times at the Statewide Teacher Training hosted by the CA State Chancellor’s Office.
Class participants have said, “Doris is able to take a complex idea and break it down into understandable segments.” Doris has hundreds of evaluation sheets with comments like these. Some say, “Doris brings a zest and enthusiasm to her teaching – this makes the learning environment enjoyable and fun.”
⭐️ Why do we care about Doris’ ability to teach? Why would this make her a better candidate for Mayor?
⭐️ The answer - teachers lead. Teachers are happy to take the time to bring others along with them to understand goals and directions. Doris is a proven teacher and leader. She will work to lead Napa as we move together for a successful and sustainable future. Is this what you want?
Scott and Doris agreed to be fair in this campaign. Scott and Doris want all to be respectful of our signs. If you support us then don’t remove our signs.
It was shared with us that Linda Sedgley said, “Please do not not deface or remove signs, of anyone’s. If you know Scott and his honest integrity he does not endorse this type of behavior. His signs have been removed and it is disheartening.”
Doris helped get Red Light Cameras removed because of safety concerns & fraudulent penalties.
She did not support the use of Red-Light Cameras at any time during the campaign in 2016 and voted to have them removed once elected.
“Red light cameras assist authorities in their enforcement of traffic laws. But on the flip side, it increases rear-end collisions as drivers slam on brakes and creates an environment of mistrust between residents and officers.”
When she voted for these to be removed (and in Napa they were removed), Doris stated that the loss of revenue to the city would be hard but other ways will need to be found to backfill these dollars.
Doris is a proven supporter of the community and is willing to stand up for the residents of Napa. Tough leadership matters to Gentry, do you want a Mayor that will stand up for Napa? If so, all we need is you, and you, and you!
